On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, Zhou Mingzhe, an ordinary librarian, transmigrates to a Victorian-style alternate world called Cavendish. Steam and the supernatural coexist here, where gentlemen walk alongside the uncanny.
