Shushu Is Having a Rough Day Again

(New book just launched, comments welcome) Reading guide: *A gentle, laid-back, thousand-year-old willow tree spirit as the bottom x a possessive, obsessive, vengeful, devoted Imperial Preceptor as the top *The bottom is irresistible to all beasts *Everyday life, with a possibly slow-burn romance? (Not sure.) The bottom is literally a block of wood, and his thoughts jump around: one moment he's thinking about something, the next he's thinking about something else. *Sweet, sweet, sweet! Shen Qi, a willow tree spirit who had been lying flat for a thousand years, only wanted to sun himself at the Imperial Preceptor's residence and coast through life. Who would have thought the little one he'd raised would turn evil! As the heir to the position of Imperial Preceptor, Pei Lin was obsessive, vengeful, and pathologically possessive. The only thing he wanted in the whole world was the willow tree in the courtyard. Shen Qi: “I watched you grow up from the day you were born.” Pei Lin looked at the gentle man beneath him and bent down to kiss him. “Doesn't matter. You're mine, and so is the tree. No one can take either of you away.”
