A forbidden land has descended, and a hundred nations around the world are tearing their hair out trying to decipher the “divine runes.” Contestants everywhere face near-certain death.
When it is China's turn, archaeologist Jiang Chen is left dumbfounded.
“Wait... You mean you don't see the character for ‘death’ written on the wall in oracle bone script?”
While the world is astonished that he so easily dodged a lethal trap, Jiang Chen studies the newly appeared runes in deep thought.
“This ‘Taotie’ written in bronze script... It means it's hungry, right?”
The next moment, an ancient ferocious beast that other countries' contestants see as a world-ending menace is soothed into becoming a guardian beast with a barbecue feast.
Viewers around the world: “It's over. He's turned the forbidden land into his own backyard!”
