Global Freeze: Building a Safe House in the Apocalypse

[Apocalypse + Safe House + Revenge + No Saintly Heroine]

My girlfriend and neighbor carved me up for food. Then I was reborn!

Back one month before the apocalypse, I looked at my girlfriend, pretending to care about me, and the neighbor enthusiastically sharing food, and smiled.

This time, I’ll first use foreign-exchange leverage to rake in tens of billions, then fill my limitless space with supplies worth the same!

When the whole world freezes over and you’re smashing each other’s heads for a moldy loaf at minus 60 degrees, I’ll be in my climate-controlled fortress at 26 degrees, watching your pathetic antics on the monitors.

A saintly do-gooder? Sorry, being eaten once was enough.
