Others went mad when corrupted by the Abyss. She swallowed it whole.
It turned out that the “Abyssal Eye” was sleeping inside her.
It turned out she was born to be a key, able to open the Abyssal Gate and seal it away.
When fate finally caught up with her, Shadow’s voice came from afar:
“Ah Meng, I believe in you.”
Mengwan tightened her grip on her sword and smiled.
“Mom, I’ll be back.”
