Waiting for Moonlight for Fifteen Years

Showbiz / Boy Group Survival Show / Older Man-Younger Man / Mutual Healing / Ensemble Cast / Happy Ending / Reunion After a Long Separation

When Duan Mingyi was ten, human traffickers abducted him. In the darkness, a five-year-old child crept behind him and silently untied the ropes around his hands. When the traffickers came after them, the child called “Taro Ball” gave him a hard shove. “Run, big brother!”

He escaped, but Taro Ball was taken back. Wanting to find the child, he entered the entertainment industry at eighteen, hoping to become famous enough for Taro Ball to see him.

Later, Duan Mingyi became a top-tier star. On a survival show, he met a contestant named Yu Yan, and knew at a glance that he was the child from back then.

But Yu Yan didn’t remember him. A high fever when he was five had erased all his memories. Every now and then, he would dream of a figure seen from behind, always running ahead.

One was a seeker who had waited fifteen years; the other, someone who had forgotten everything for fifteen years. Fate brought them back to the same stage: one became a mentor, the other a contestant.

This is a story about searching for someone, and being found.

About someone who pushed you toward the light, then spent his whole youth searching for your name.

About someone who forgot everything, yet still ran toward you again and again in his dreams.
