Takahashi arrives in the Ultra Multiverse in the form of a mutated “Lipiah.”
On the surface, he is a refined human scholar in a sharp suit and gold-rimmed glasses.
In secret, he sees Ultraman and monsters as the perfect buffet ingredients. Just touch them, and he can absorb, analyze, and fuse with any light or dark genes without limit!
With the whole universe in danger, Takahashi nudges his gold-rimmed glasses. “You can all fight until you're bloody. I just want to collect a few samples. That's not asking too much, is it?”
And then everything takes a wild turn.
The original Tiga: “The year I became light, I meant to seal Gatanothor. But this guy with glasses not only stole my light, he ate the monster like a snack?”
Zero: “Investigate! Investigate this thoroughly! Who stole the data for my magnificent Palagi Shield in the middle of the night?!”
Tartarus: “I crossed time and space to gather an army of villains so you could help me attack the Land of Light, not swallow my entire monster army in one bite with a black hole!!”
Jugglus Juggler: “Don't look at me. I'm just the scapegoat. He's the real Dark Emperor!”
Zoffy issues the highest-level interstellar wanted order, and the elite forces of the Land of Light mobilize!
Takahashi looks at the Earth Defense Team members standing in front of him, the same people he calls “experimental assets,” now risking their lives to protect him. Inside him, the genetic noise known as the “Ultra Spirit” runs wild.
With a helpless sigh, he pulls off his tie and transforms into a demon god of truth, towering against the starry sky.
“I only wanted to take your money, not your lives. But since you insist on pushing me, I'll rewrite the laws of this universe today.”
A very good book, but the protagonist is too cold. There should be humanity in the future. But I think analyzing the truth shouldn't be a gluttonous activity.
Extremely rational, the protagonist has a good look and feel, which is in line with the "Observer" setting, and there is a bottom line in the pursuit of power. Except when he is really about to die, I think it is normal. Who will die if he can live? It fits my vision of the new Ultraman world quite well. However, I personally don't like this "cocoon" very much. Although it anchors the protagonist's humanity, it doesn't sit well with me, who likes to pursue rational pursuits, so when it comes to this character-related position, I jump as much as I can.
The writing is pretty good, but a bit short [laughing]
It's a very good angle, and the character of the protagonist is also very stable. The pace is neither fast nor slow. It doesn't feel like a newcomer. Does the role of Cocoon have the meaning of the protagonist being trapped in a cocoon?
New Ultraman Lipia
The novel perspective is quite good, good luck to the author!!
