The 1980s: I'm Pregnant With the Commander's Quadruplets

Scene One:

Bai Sui wolfs down meat at the dinner table.

“Delicious! Another bowl!”

The smell makes Commander Gu rush to the bathroom to throw up.

His orderly stares in horror. “Commander, are you… pregnant?”

Scene Two:

Bai Sui’s belly starts growing like a balloon.

“I’ve put on quite a bit lately. I should go on a diet.”

Commander Gu stares at his disappearing abs, lost in thought.

The doctor says, “It’s the famous couvade syndrome. The commander loves his wife too much!”

Scene Three:

The day of the delivery, outside the maternity ward.

“Ow, this hurts a little,” Bai Sui says.

“Ahhh! Don’t be scared, honey! I’m in even more pain than you!” Commander Gu cries.

In the end, Su Yun safely gives birth to quadruplets, while Commander Gu faints gloriously.

The entire military district agrees: “It’s official. Commander Gu is the real mom!”
