The Sweet Young Wife of the Seventies Keeps Her Rough-Hewn Husband Busy Every Day

[Period Setting · Rugged Hero · Delicate Wife · Marriage Before Love · Borrowing Seed · Terrible Relatives] In her previous life, Shen Zhiwei abandoned her husband and child to return to the city, only to be cheated out of her money and virtue by a scumbag and die miserably beneath a bridge. Reborn in the 1970s, she’s still the delicate young intellectual who can’t lift or carry a thing. To stay here and survive, she sets her sights on the butcher at the end of the village, the rugged Zhao Tiezhu. They say he slaughters pigs without blinking. They say he’s cursed and brings death to his wives. They say he has a violent temper and hits hard. Shen Zhiwei looks at the man’s solid muscles and grits her teeth. “He’s the one! I’ll borrow his seed, have a baby, and cling to him for the rest of my life!” After they marry, Zhao Tiezhu looks at his tender little wife, blushing at the slightest touch, and doesn’t know where to put the butcher’s cleaver in his hand. Scold her? He can’t bear to. Hit her? Even less. So he puts all his strength to use elsewhere. Everyone waits to see Shen Zhiwei scared to death by the butcher, but instead they see Zhao Tiezhu pour her wash water in the morning, feed her at noon, and at night... ahem. Shen Zhiwei rubs her aching waist and whines, “Liar! Who said he was cold and heartless? This is clearly a wolf that can never get enough!”

(Note: This is a slice-of-life story set in a bygone era, with a gradual romance and a focus on building a life together. There’s no golden finger, just a rugged man’s devotion and plenty of blush-inducing moments.)
