This record was included in the "Records of the Qing Dynasty" published by Zhonghua Book Company from 1986 to 1987. The records of the Qing Dynasty are a kind of chronicle historical records. The data come from various archives of the cabinet and the emperor's official records, as well as the regulations and memorials of various yamen. The most important ones are the emperor's collected works and imperial writings. There are actual records from the Qing Dynasty. Although the volumes vary, the style remains the same and the main categories of records are the same. Chen Baochen, who took the lead in compiling the true records of Dezong, served successively as a bachelor of the cabinet, minister of the Ministry of Rites, and later Puyi's master and consultant minister of Bideyuan. Among the completed records of the 12 dynasties of the Qing Dynasty, the Dezong Dynasty has the largest volume, with a total of 597 volumes. It was completed in 1927 after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. From Volume 437 to Volume 492, there are 57 volumes recording important situations in politics, economy, culture, foreign relations and social life during the three years of 1899 (the 25th year of Guangxu), 1900 (the 26th year of Guangxu), and 1901 (the 27th year of Guangxu). Among them, the Boxer Rebellion Incident is recorded in detail.
