On the journey west to fetch the scriptures, demons get beaten, immortals get held accountable, and ghosts lose their jobs.
This book isn’t about the Great Sage or Tang Sanzang. It’s about three ordinary people driven to the brink by the journey west.
A little demon who signed up for a civil service exam and got sent to his death, an immortal who was made the fall guy and shoved into a job, and a low-ranking underworld clerk scraping by for a living.
Three people with nothing in common, bound tightly together by the same game of fate. The early chapters are more like three separate stories, so enter at your own risk!
