Protagonist: Lin Mo, a 17-year-old high school senior. Originally introverted and sensitive, he is under immense pressure from his parents' failing marriage. His grades are below average, and his only wish is to get into a good university and escape the home that's about to fall apart.
System: The “Divorce-Rebellion System.” A contrarian system whose core mission is to “stop the Host's parents from getting divorced.” It issues all kinds of “rebellious” tasks, with rewards tied to “rebellion points,” which can be used to exchange for skills, items, and even contracted spirit beasts. The System itself seems to conceal a deeper secret.
World: A modern urban setting infused with spirit beasts. These magical creatures form contracts with humans and possess all kinds of abilities, but are subject to strict regulations. An ordinary person can contract with no more than seven spirit beasts in their lifetime. Spirit Beast Tamers are a special group in society, with considerable status and power.
Main plot: Forced onward by the System, Lin Mo gradually grows from a meek “good boy” into a “rebel” who dares to defy fate and protect his family. Using the abilities granted by the System, he tries not only to save his parents' marriage, but also to forge his own path under the immense pressure of the college entrance exam. In the end, he uncovers the truth behind the System and faces challenges from a higher level.
Side plots: School life, friendship, first love, growing alongside spirit beast companions, interactions and rivalries with other Spirit Beast Tamers, and the hidden stories and hardships of each of his parents.
