Space-Time Agricultural Officer: A Love That Travels Across a Thousand Years

Souls transported into new bodies + modern grassroots civil servant + officialdom-map System + female lead farming in ancient times

Shen Yanci, a poor scholar of the Great Jing dynasty, is 23 and well-read in The Complete Book of Agricultural Administration and The Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance. He dreams of putting the world in order. After witnessing farmers driven from their homes, he speaks candidly about the flaws in agricultural policy during the imperial exams and is dismissed. He dies in despair, then transmigrates.

He’s reborn in modern-day Ningzhou and takes over the body of a grassroots civil servant with the same name, who has just passed the civil service exam.

Lin Weixi, 28, works at the Ningzhou Agricultural Technology Extension Center. She has a PhD in agronomy and specializes in crop breeding and soil improvement. Practical and resilient, she has spent so long bringing new technologies to rural communities that she falls ill from exhaustion. She transmigrates to Qingxi Town in the Great Jing dynasty and takes over the body of an orphan whose parents are dead and whose land has been seized by a local gentry family.

Come see a tale of agricultural officials across time: two souls in love, traveling through a thousand years!
