“You are me, and I am you. Our souls are the same, but our personalities are not.”

“I am you, and I am also not you. I am the one willing to die so that we can go on living.”

Flora and ‘Gloria’ were originally one and the same. To face the future she already knew was coming, she searched for even the slightest chance to stay alive.

To survive, Gloria did many things: she kept her soul pure, blew up the factory to escape, and schemed to make Blair Selwyn become her ‘little sister.’ During the summer after second year, she sought power, even if it meant losing her human emotions, even if others humiliatingly forced her to wear a control device. Gloria accepted it all willingly.

“If you already knew that death was your future, would you still be willing to die, Flora?”

“I would give up everything for the chance that you could live, Gloria.”

Gloria and ‘Gloria’ are two consciousnesses split from the same soul. Having lived in darkness since childhood, Gloria feared she would go mad, so she separated ‘Gloria’ from herself. From then on, she began the path of playing ‘her’ role.

Along the way, Gloria met many people and received kindness from many of them. Would she still be willing to die?
