From the Start, I Picked Up a Flower Fairy Girlfriend

Shut-in Xu Yiran finds a discarded plant in an abandoned flowerbed at his apartment complex.

The day after he brings it home and nurses it back to health, he is roused from his drowsy sleep by a dazzling beam of spiritual light.

A breathtaking woman in an ancient-style gown steps out of the blooming bud and floats down barefoot, her fair jade feet settling gently in his doghouse of an apartment.

She gives the stunned man a slight bow:

“My benefactor, I can never repay you for saving my life... Could I start by asking your name and household registration?”

From a potted plant to an amnesiac celestial maiden, a mighty being from the Upper Realm,

the two begin a rather unconventional live-in routine: beating up the occasional underworld imp who comes up to cause trouble, company backstabbers, and all sorts of immortal and demonic spies,

while trying to figure out how to navigate human society, get health insurance, scrape together a down payment, and register their marriage...

Until one day, the shackles on her soul shatter, and the sky above the entire city is swallowed by seven-colored clouds and golden rays!

Only then does Xu Yiran realize:

What kind of little flower spirit is she?

She is the ruler who commanded every flower in the entire divine realm a hundred million years ago!

Wait... Why is the first thing she says after recovering her memories, “Husband, don’t rush. I’ve already tucked a whole litter of immortal lotus seeds inside for you.”
