The Cold, Aloof Master Was Kissed to Tears by Her Crazed Disciple

[Male-male leads + light ensemble cast + past and present lives + mutual firsts + imprisonment + turning into a kitten + reversals and face-slapping] Song Che transmigrates into the wish-fulfillment novel he read before bed, Debts of Blood on the Immortal Path, and becomes Xie Yunji, a cold and aloof master who is destined to be cut to pieces by his deranged disciple. In the original story, the male lead, Ye Lijin, is reborn and returns to take revenge on the master who betrayed and killed him. A cold-natured man in his original world, Song Che decides to lie flat and follow the plot. Other masters dread being imprisoned. Song Che is looking forward to it. He just wants to rush through the story: get imprisoned, tortured, killed, and sent home. Then he can lie flat and wait to die. Ye Lijin: You owe me, Master. I'll collect every last bit, inch by inch. Xie Yunji (kitten): Enough talk. Come on, imprison me. Ye Lijin: Master, I hate (love) you. Xie Yunji (kitten): Then hurry up and imprison me! Torture me! That is, until Ye Lijin kisses Xie Yunji to tears. Ye Lijin: You... why are you crying? Didn't you tell me to “torture” you? Xie Yunji (kitten): ??? That's not how the story goes! And is this really how you “torture” someone? Later, Ye Lijin goes completely mad. Song Che finally realizes something is wrong. This lunatic is acting strange. It isn't until Ye Lijin drags him in front of the Mirror of Reincarnation that he understands. “In our past life, you sacrificed your soul for me. Why are you pretending we're strangers now?” Song Che looks at their intertwined reflections across three lifetimes, and his memories come flooding back. He thought he'd transmigrated into a book. In truth, he had returned. [Just a heads-up: later on, the master turns into a kitten...]
