The Cloudside Bookworm's Fifth Book

After transmigrating to Beika Town, Yagami Yo unexpectedly gets bound to the Good Deeds System. He wants to do honest good deeds, but the System's tasks keep going off track: he fixes Eri Kisaki's computer, and his impressive technical skills earn the cool-headed lawyer's gratitude; he helps Yoko Okino overcome a singing slump, but first has to conceal the truth about a murder; he comforts the heartbroken Kana Seki, and accidentally unlocks hypnosis, while the System's rewards grow stranger and stranger. With top-tier combat skills, Oscar-worthy acting, and mastery of hypnosis, Yagami Yo unlocks one incredible ability after another, moving far faster than Conan. While Shinichi Kudo is still investigating the men in black, Yagami has already become lawyer Kisaki's trusted assistant. While Kogoro Mouri fawns over Yoko's poster, Yagami is listening to his idol confess to a crime. By the time Conan finally finds a lead on the maple leaf gold coins, Yagami has already piled them up in a corner of the Odd Jobs Shop. "Ran, stay away from that kid with glasses. There's something off about him." "Sonoko, you'll always be special to me, even though I have six friends who need my help." With the System in hand and Beika Town's troubles underfoot, Yagami Yo's path of "helping others" veers further and further off course. Yet in Conan's world, he carves out an astonishing path all his own.
