[Werewolf]
One night, a ringing phone plunges thirteen people into a recurring nightmare. Werewolf is no longer just a game: their role cards brand their fates, and every elimination at night brings their real lives crumbling down in sync. Han Muzhi, a sociology doctoral student, wields reason like a blade as he dissects this brutal social allegory. When friends and rivals alike fall under the rules, he must calculate: should he win the game, or tear the game itself apart? After seven nights, their roles are carved into their very bones. No one can wake up.
(It’s not quite an ordinary game of Werewolf. I’ve changed some of the rules.)
