A Forensic Doctor Becomes the Abandoned Empress in the Cold Palace and Turns the World Upside Down with Her Skills

Top forensic examiner Lin Jianwei wakes up as a disgraced empress confined to the cold palace, right in the middle of a poisoning.

The entire harem is waiting for news of her death, but she quietly presents the first autopsy report.

From then on, the palace takes a dramatic turn:

When the Noble Consort's “accidental” drowning occurs, she identifies the culprit with a single strand of hair. When the empress's “heaven-sent” auspicious sign appears, she uses chemical reagents to expose it for what it is.

With her extraordinary skills, she rises from discarded consort to empress, and from the depths of the palace to the halls of government.

Everyone says she beguiles the emperor with strange tricks and contraptions, but she establishes the first Imperial Forensics Bureau, letting evidence speak and clearing the wrongfully accused.

Then her political enemies present conclusive proof of treason before the throne, yet the man seated upon it looks only at her. “Your Majesty, I leave this case entirely in your hands.”

This is her battlefield, where expertise is her blade and justice her measure.

In this palace of nine layers that devours its inhabitants, she will establish an order entirely her own.
