The Cursed Pawnshop: Turmoil in the Northeast

In the Northeast, evil spirits abound. The deep forests hide strange creatures, while abandoned villages and old houses conceal sinister things. Hidden among the bustling streets is a pawnshop for cursed objects, where the owner takes in all manner of malevolent items and keeps supernatural horrors at bay. It has taken in locust-wood plaques that drain people’s vital energy, subdued water-ghost hairpins that cling to people and bring death, and sealed fox-fur cloaks that wreak havoc on local communities. Every item pawned tells the story of a perilous encounter with evil. The shopkeeper travels across the mountains and rivers, using his skills to subdue cursed objects and unravel strange mysteries. He upholds the pawnshop’s century-old rules and frees the Northeast from the grip of its folk demons. Each tale of taking in an evil object is steeped in the Northeast’s eerie folklore and the courage to face the supernatural, all unfolding amid the region’s strange and turbulent world.
