It Was Supposed to Be a Strategy Game, but the Long March Made the Entire Internet Weep

The public beta of the brain-training game developed by Qin Xueze is met with a torrent of online abuse. Players rage that the Long March stages are nothing but desperate puzzle challenges. They were promised fun brainteasers, but now they have to make life-or-death choices in snowy mountains and grasslands. Streamers have meltdowns live, and the comments fill with bad reviews. But no one knows that every puzzle in these stages is based on a path to survival carved out by the sacrifices of those who came before.

As players follow Qin Xueze’s design, they watch the old squad leader hide the last half-piece of food, the soldiers use their wits to cross treacherous rapids, and the Red Army hold fast to their faith and press on even when all hope seems lost. The online abuse gradually fades, replaced by tears. Some players sob as they solve the puzzles; others pay their respects in silence. The barrage of comments overflows with heartfelt emotion.

Through his game, Qin Xueze helps the younger generation understand the weight of the Long March. This was never just a simple brain-training challenge. It is a legacy of spirit etched into the blood and bones of our nation, and a glorious chapter of history that we must never forget!
