Country Life in a Little Farmhouse

In the watery towns of Jiangnan, the Shen and Xu families lived close by. Five-year-old Shen Yanzhi was the steady only son, cherished by his whole family, while three-year-old Xu Qingyuan was a sweet little girl spoiled rotten. From childhood games to growing up side by side, they made a home in a small courtyard with a few acres of farmland. Through the everyday rhythms of sowing in spring and harvesting in autumn, they turned ordinary days into a tender life together.
