A Clash in Warm Hues: An Unexpected Roommate at the Office

On Friday night, after working overtime for 40 straight hours, Su Wan’s apartment suffers a burst pipe, forcing her to find somewhere temporary to stay. Just when she’s at her wit’s end, she spots a roommate ad on the company forum: “Prime location, two bedrooms and a living room, women only, just one-third of the market rate.” Utterly exhausted, Su Wan arrives at the apartment in the early hours of the morning. The moment she opens the door, she freezes. Inside is Lu Jingxing, the company’s dreaded “ice-cold director,” fresh from his shower and wearing only a towel around his waist. Water trickles down his firm abs. The two stare at each other in shock.
