I Counsel Ghosts on a Horror Livestream

Shen Liao transmigrates into a horror game called the Netherworld Court.

While everyone else barely survives being hunted by ghosts, he gets bound to the [Emotional Livestream].

A blood-robed senior demands his life? He hands her a psychology questionnaire. “How satisfying has your revenge been? Have you considered legal action?”

A century-old zombie lays waste to a city? He sets up his camera. “Hey, everyone! Today’s challenge: win over our zombie ancestor with filial devotion. Send those gifts!”

Viewers all think the streamer has lost his mind, until they see...

A red-clad evil spirit call into his stream to sob about her unfaithful lover, while a drowned ghost passes his counseling sessions and becomes a civil servant in the underworld.

With his “ghost psychology counseling,” Shen Liao racks up points and merit until he’s almost earned enough to buy the spirit medicine that can save his younger sister.

But when he finally reaches the deepest part of the Netherworld Court, he discovers there’s no ultimate boss waiting for him, only a cold choice:

Destroy it and condemn countless souls to perish; escape and let tragedy repeat forever; or... become it.

Looking at the countless numb yet hopeful eyes behind him, Shen Liao sighs and presses “Confirm.”

“From today on, emotion is the only currency here.”

“And I am Shen Liao, the Netherworld Court’s last tomb keeper.”
