Don't Mess with That F-Ranker: His Backer Is a Calamity

[Rifts] have opened everywhere, and monsters run rampant. Humanity awakens as [Players], struggling to survive in the [Scripts] broadcast by the gods. Some are chosen ones, starting at S-rank and hailed as “the light of humanity.”

But I, Lin Fan, am just an F-rank nobody hauling bricks in the lowest levels of the Rift to scrape together my college tuition.

I never knew that one thoughtless act of kindness from me would change the destinies of three “future calamities.” Years later, when disaster strikes and even the “light of humanity” is powerless to stop it...

The [Silent Frost Sovereign], wielder of ice and snow, freezes a thousand miles of demonic hordes with a single thought, just to protect the patch of ground before me.

The [Miracle of Life], who commands life and death, reverses the laws of nature and revives the land, all because I once gave her a potted succulent.

The [Final Judgment], who slips through light and shadow, annihilates every enemy who dares attack, remembering only the half a piece of bread I shared with her.

The whole world is asking: Who is this F-rank nobody surrounded by the calamities?

Lin Fan: “Don’t ask. If you have to, then... I’m just a good citizen who stands up for what’s right.”
