Five Years After Our Divorce, My Ex-Wife Came to Me with a Terminal Illness

Ji Zhimin, a university art professor, cheats with a 20-year-old student. Five years after their divorce, his ex-wife, Gu Meijuan, is diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer and tearfully begs him to look after their son. Ji Xiaobao moves into his father’s villa with his mistress, acting like an obedient child while secretly abusing his little sister. Then a mirror shatters, revealing an adoption certificate: he isn’t their biological child. As a van hurtles toward Ji Xiaobao, Bai Muyu, his father’s mistress, shoves him out of the way, and scalding oil pours over her hand. At the hospital, Ji Xiaobao finally calls her “Mom.” But no one knows that he has a knife hidden in his drawer.
