Codename Candle Dragon: I Can No Longer Hide My Identity as a General

Long Zhan, China's youngest major general, codenamed “Zhulong.” After an exercise in which he overwhelms the entire army, he receives a top-secret mission: relinquish his star, disappear into the ranks, and find the “spark” that can ignite the battlefield of the future. And so, a new recruit named Chen Feng joins the training company, quickly earning a reputation as a troublemaker. He comes first in the five-kilometer weighted run, argues his instructor to tears in tactics class, and takes down every veteran in his company during combat training. The squad leader slams the table. “Who the hell are you, anyway?!” He smiles without answering, until the day A flash flood traps the entire company. He builds an aerial passage with his bare hands and directs a helicopter rescue using commands only a general would know. As the whole army is shaken, two generals drive straight into the recruit camp and salute him solemnly. “General Long, it's time to launch Operation Dawn.” The squad leader who once mocked him is stunned. The company commander is dumbfounded. Only Su Wanqing, the beautiful clerk who is always sneaking glances at him, quietly smiles. She sets down her fountain pen. The lieutenant colonel insignia on her shoulder boards gleams. “Allow me to introduce myself properly. Su Wanqing, Headquarters Intelligence Department. I've been assigned to assist you, Comrade General.” That day, the sky over the recruit company changed.
