The More Troublesome, the More Popular? The Commander Climbs My Wall Every Night

The seventies / military marriage / transmigrating into a book / sweet romance / comedy / difficult heroine / marriage before love

After transmigrating into a book set in the seventies as a spoiled female side character doomed to a tragic end, Liu Manyu stares at the “cold-faced King of Hell” before her, her legs trembling with fear!

To save her life and avoid the fate of being thrown out and dying on the streets, she decides to strike first: act up! Act up as much as she can! Make him ask for a divorce!

On their wedding night, she complains that the commanding officer reeks of sweat and throws the quilt on the floor. “You’re filthy! Stay away from me!”

The next day, she kicks over the washbasin in front of everyone and points at him, shouting, “You can’t even heat up the food! Are you trying to starve me?”

In the cafeteria, she shoves a piece of fatty meat into his mouth to humiliate him. “I’m giving you the garbage I don’t eat!”

Liu Manyu’s inner monologue: Big brother, I’m begging you, get angry already! File for divorce! I’ve packed all my things!

But the plot keeps going more and more off the rails…

Faced with her unreasonable antics, the cold-faced regiment commander everyone fears doesn’t get angry. Instead, the corners of his mouth lift, and his gaze turns indulgent?

Chu Zhiyuan: She’s clearly trembling with fear, but still bares her claws and snarls at me. She’s… kind of adorable.

The whole compound waits for Liu Manyu to be kicked out, but instead, Regiment Commander Chu brings her a footbath and spoils his troublesome wife to the heavens!

Liu Manyu breaks down crying: Why does all this acting up make it even harder to get a divorce?
