Emperors vie for supremacy, with the universe as their board.
Blue Star undergoes a sudden transformation. In a contest of national destiny, every civilization awakens the souls of its ancestors and wields history as a blade to fight for the fortune of all peoples.
Yet China suffers a terrifying break in its history! Across five thousand magnificent years, the philosophers and heroes of the past have all but vanished. No one inherits their legacy; no one remembers them. Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang and Emperor Taizu of Song, the Yongle Emperor, even the great figures of modern times... Every name and achievement has been swallowed by the dust.
The descendants of China still have the blood, but their souls are gone.
When Japan’s so-called Emperor Jimmu, Xu Fu, approaches China’s battle platform with monstrous mists and the phantom of an eight-headed serpent, grinning viciously, the whole nation is bewildered and despair spreads.
At that moment, transmigrator Chen Yi is chosen by the will of national destiny and steps alone onto the empty altar.
Facing Xu Fu’s mocking, greedy gaze, Chen Yi merely smiles in disdain. His voice rings like metal, shaking the heavens:
“Conquer the six directions, rule the eight wastes, and unify the six kingdoms. Standardize the tracks and scripts, and build the Great Wall stretching thousands of miles. Subdue the barbarians, defeat the Xiongnu, lay the foundations of China, and rule a vast domain stretching thousands of miles...”
His eyes flash like lightning. He speaks each word slowly and clearly:
“Welcome, the First Emperor of the Ages, Qin Shi Huang!”
As his words fall, heaven and earth are shaken!
Nine dragons roar, a black imperial robe drapes across a towering figure, and the phantom of an emperor strides forth from the end of time. A single glance from him commands the eight directions.
Xu Fu, who had been so invincible just moments before, is struck as if by lightning. His whole body trembles as boundless fear overwhelms his will. With a thud, he drops to his knees and presses his forehead to the ground, his voice shaking beyond recognition:
“O-old servant Xu Fu... pays his respects to Your Majesty!”
The phantom of Qin Shi Huang says nothing. His long-silent majesty, undiminished after thousands of years, says it all.
