Showing Our Ancestors China, Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han Break Down in Tears

[Travel between ancient and modern times + adorable child + patriotism + livestreaming + iconic historical moments + the whole internet in tears]

Three-and-a-half-year-old Su Nuonuo accidentally gets bound to the “National Destiny Time-Travel Gate System.”

The System tells her that if she brings emperors from history to visit China in 2026 for seven days, she’ll receive rewards.

So Nuonuo, dressed in a panda onesie, toddles over to the time gate and pushes it open.

Facing the imposing Qin Shi Huang:

Nuonuo holds up a globe. “Charming great ancestor, stop looking at the map! The Earth is round. Wherever the sun and moon shine, it’s all China!”

Ying Zheng watches high-speed trains race by and sees the Great Wall still standing. Tears fill his eyes. “My Great Qin fell after two generations? No! The spirit of China will flourish for all eternity!”

Facing Emperor Wu of Han, who regrets never conquering all of the northern deserts:

Nuonuo pulls him over to watch a military parade livestream. “Grandpa Che’er, look! Dongfeng Express delivers every time! Anyone who dares attack China, no matter how far away, will be punished!”

Liu Che strokes a model of a domestically built aircraft carrier and laughs aloud. “Good! Good! Good! This is the mighty Han I dreamed of!”

Facing Zhu Yuanzhang, who started out with nothing but a begging bowl:

Nuonuo hands him a bowl of rice made from hybrid rice. “Grandpa Chongba, nobody goes hungry anymore. Everyone has enough to eat!”

Zhu Yuanzhang cradles the bowl and looks at the lights in homes across the land. He weeps like a child. “My people… finally have food to eat.”

As past and present converge, the ancestors witness the flourishing age of today.

This is the prosperous world you wished for.

Viewers across the internet burst into tears. “Nuonuo, please be sure to tell them: we’ve never forgotten!”
