The Masquerade Game: Final Judgment

Christmas Eve at Tokyo’s Coltesia Hotel should have been a glittering celebration, but instead it becomes a scene of judgment and slaughter. Three murders follow one after another. Every victim is a criminal who once bore a grave charge but escaped punishment through legal loopholes: an abuser who beat someone to death, a robber and murderer, and a perpetrator who indirectly drove a young woman to suicide. Each meets a long-delayed punishment in silence.

Detective Kosuke Nitta goes undercover at the hotel once more, tracing the victims’ shared pasts. But every lead points to a group of victims’ relatives harboring deep resentment. They disguise themselves and lie in wait, carefully plotting every move, yet each has a perfect alibi. As the secrets of the “Shadow Society” come to light, and a former convict posing as a bereaved relative reveals his true identity, this masquerade of revenge finally reaches its ultimate showdown.
