Lin Feng and his wife were modern-day experts in genetic modification. After reading Transmigrate to the Primordial World!, they were inspired by the novel's imaginative cultivation methods and the idea of grafting and propagating spiritual roots until they covered the entire universe. They boldly began researching ways to purify genes, and eventually developed a drug capable of altering them. They hoped to transmigrate into the Primordial World and earn a five-star review for their novel, but never expected to be accidentally captured by the mighty Pangu, creator of Heaven and Earth, and taken into the newly formed Primordial World.
The couple began awakening spiritual roots and inscribing formations to draw in energy from beyond, bringing order to the Primordial World ahead of schedule.
When Hongjun's soul finally recovered and he emerged in his transformed form, he discovered that other cultivators had already plundered more than half of the Primordial World's treasures.
When the Beast Emperor Shenni emerged after reaching the Great Golden Immortal Realm, he found that cultivators had domesticated most of the Primordial World's ferocious beasts, while the rest had been slaughtered.
When the dragons, phoenixes, and qilin reached the Great Golden Immortal Realm, they too discovered that most of their people had been domesticated, while some had even joined the Cultivation Alliance founded by Lin Feng.
Just as the Great Dao was about to withdraw and the Heavenly Dao was about to emerge, Lin Feng and his wife unexpectedly led the people to awaken the Human Dao.
When the Three Pure Ones, Di Jun, Donghuang Taiyi, and the other innate gods and demons reached the Great Golden Immortal Realm, they discovered that the human cultivators created by Lin Feng already ruled the Primordial World, with Great Golden Immortals everywhere.
After the Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Daos took their rightful places, cultivators from other Primordial Worlds governed by the Great Dao unexpectedly tried to invade Lin Feng's world.
After Lin Feng subdued all the cultivators who had come to invade his Primordial World,
he set off to explore the even higher-level Hongmeng Origin Realm.
