With Dujiangyan as my betrothal gift, I answer China’s call. The purpose of engineering is to benefit the people; technology should serve harmony; wisdom should be passed on with sincerity. May we take Dujiangyan as our guide and our predecessors as our teachers as we continue onward, though who this “predecessor” really is may forever remain a mystery.
