Hong Kong Films: You Said We’d Go Gangster, So Why Are You Giving Out Billions in Subsidies?

Jiang Xu isn't a good person. He just wants to make money, seize power, and rise above everyone else. He transmigrated to twentieth-century Hong Kong and became a low-level member of Wo Shing Wo, starting out with nothing but a car and risking his life to transport goods for others. Then he unexpectedly awakened the Hundred-Billion Subsidy Smuggling System: every smuggling run earned him a million in subsidies! But on his very first run, he was betrayed by a mole and surrounded by five police vans! Jiang Xu had no choice but to tear a van apart with his bare hands. In one night, he killed twelve police officers, shocking both the underworld and the authorities. The authorities put a million-dollar bounty on him, while he kept risking his life to transport goods for others. Jiang Xu then turned around and bloodily wiped out a nightclub, pinned the blame on a Vietnamese gang, and forced an undercover cop to become a double agent, successfully disappearing into the shadows. With the gang leadership election approaching, Jiang Xu took on two hundred street thugs by himself and knocked out the gang's top enforcer with one punch, making a name for himself across Hong Kong! After that, he swallowed up Hung Hing, crushed On Yee, and took on Sun Yee On. His businesses spread through every corner of the legitimate, gray, and underworld economies. Even the gweilos had to bow their heads and pay up when they saw him! With a cigar in his mouth, Jiang Xu smiled at his groveling opponent. “I ain't here to negotiate. I'm here to teach you what the rules are.”
