When Kongyu wakes up, he has transmigrated into the Traveler on the continent of Teyvat. He starts by fishing, hoping to catch an Emergency Food Paimon, but one cast gets him a two-for-one deal? Along with the white-haired flying gremlin, he also reels in a tiny, exquisitely adorable child dressed in a Tang Dynasty ruqun!

“Wah… big brudder… hungry…” Looking at the little one who calls herself Zisi and keeps asking for “Daddy,” Kongyu’s heart melts.

Who could have guessed she is Li Mingda, the historically short-lived Princess Jinyang of the Tang Dynasty?

To change little Zisi’s fate and prevent her early death, Kongyu sets off to travel through the seven nations with two little tagalongs in tow.

But the story gradually takes a turn, and all the gods of Teyvat become “baby-crazy chaperones”:

[Venti] sneaks over with a cup of apple cider and winks mischievously.

“Little Zisi, want to try this? Oh dear, don’t let your fierce big brother catch you! May the Anemo Archon protect you, and may you soar even higher than Dvalin!”

[Zhongli] pats little Zisi on the head, his voice gentle as jade.

“To buy osmanthus wine and share it with you… Mm, little Zisi wants candied hawthorn? Just put it on the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s tab. This child reminds me of an old friend. I must protect her.”

When Kongyu returns to the Tang Dynasty’s Zhenguan Hall with little Zisi, now lively and well after receiving the blessings of all seven Archons, Li Shimin watches his daughter ride the wind through the sky, followed by seven elemental halos, and weeps with joy. “My Zisi! She really became an immortal?!”

Empress Zhangsun’s illness is incurable? Kongyu pulls out a Sweet Madame and the Dendro Archon’s Vision. “Your Majesty, don’t worry. This Traveler from Teyvat will cure her!”
