The Eerie Apocalypse: Her and Her Convenience Store

Eerie apocalypse, strong female lead, reborn, rule-based horror

After being reborn in the apocalypse, Lin Wan becomes bound to a rundown convenience store.

Everyone laughs at her for being foolish. Only she knows this is her one and only hope of fighting the eerie forces and building up her strength.

By day, she is an ordinary shopkeeper, calmly running her store and working hard to earn “ghost coins,” with no memory of the night.

By night, she is a deranged player pulled into [Deep Dive into Dreams], struggling to survive alone through endless tales of terror. Death means starting over the next day.

She thinks she is the only one of her kind in the world.

Until she discovers that the night-time instances are full of eerie beings desperate to tear her apart.

And the convenience store she carefully runs by day turns out, after night falls, to be a place connected to a playground governed by eerie rules.

She uses ghost coins to stock the store, and goods from another world begin appearing on the shelves:

Bread and hope for the living, fear and rules for the eerie.

Her ex-husband returns, driven by greed and malice, while the eerie corruption of the real world grows ever worse.

But the deepest secret is this:

Why does the mysterious eerie boy who repeatedly saves her from desperate situations in the night-time instances look at her with such familiarity?

And why does the former detective, who faithfully guards the convenience store by day, keep searching her for traces of “another person”?

As her transformation into an eerie being becomes irreversible and the wall between day and night memories begins to crumble,

Lin Wan finally faces the eyes in the mirror, sometimes warm and gentle, sometimes cold:

“So the person who has always been my greatest enemy and my greatest ally is myself.”

This is a story about one person living two lives, fighting simply to survive, and ultimately making peace with herself.
