My Top-Tier Star Girlfriend Is Reba

I fell in love with the brightest star in the entertainment industry, and we had to keep our relationship hidden.

I’m Shen Qingci, a restorer with a little bit of a reputation in the world of cultural relics. My world used to be nothing but black and white, and silence, until I met her: Dilraba Dilmurat, dazzling on screen, but in private, she’d curl up on the sofa in my studio, eating chips and asking me, “Is this painting from the Tang dynasty or the Song?”

At first, I thought it was just a tender accident.

She got hurt while filming and wandered into my restoration room. But in her eyes, I saw color for the first time. Later, I recreated a lost dance score for her, and she tugged at my sleeve and said, “Teacher Shen, you’re even better than the Imperial Preceptor in the script.”

My heart stirred without warning, like cinnabar slowly spreading across an ancient painting. In a corner no one knew about, we built a little universe of our own. At three in the morning under the stars on set, she’d call me and say, “Shen Qingci, I miss you.” Before a thousand-year-old mural, I’d wonder which shade of green could match the vitality in her smile.

Until the day paparazzi photos exploded like thunder.
