Lin Qi lost her sight after birth and teaches at a special-needs school. She becomes a tutor for Xu Shuyan, who was blinded in a car accident.

When Lin Qi first arrives at the Xu family home, Xu Shuyu snaps her white cane in half. From then on, the two are at odds.

“Lin Qi, you say you’re blind, so how did you know I turned off the lights?”

“I’m blind, not stupid. Xu Shuyu, your mouth is way too close to mine. Get lost!”

The old Xu Shuyu:

“Lin Qi, you’re so ugly. Who’s ever going to like you?”

“I don’t want anything you’ve touched!”

Xu Shuyu after falling for Lin Qi:

“Qiqi, how can you be so beautiful? You can only be mine. Boo-hoo...”

“Qiqi, I don’t want to change cups. I want the one you used!”
