Great Tang: Father, Stop Making a Scene. I Just Want to Be a Leisurely Prince

After transmigrating to the Tang dynasty, Li Ke finds himself with royal blood from the previous dynasty.

Knowing that “the tallest tree catches the wind,” Li Ke decides to follow three rules: don’t attend court, don’t offer advice, and don’t compete for the throne.

Bound to the Carefree Prince of Tang System, all he has to do is enjoy life, flirt with beautiful women, and refuse to get caught up in the rat race to earn rewards!

And so, things take an unexpected turn:

Li Chengqian is memorizing his lessons while Li Ke teaches Wu Meiniang how to wear “black stockings”;

Li Tai is courting powerful officials while Li Ke studies “yoga” with Consort Xu Hui;

Li Shimin, exasperated by his failure to live up to expectations, comes to lecture him, only for...

Li Shimin: “Ke’er, these ‘black stockings’ contain the principles of yin and yang? And this ‘yoga’ is a brilliant military training technique?”

Li Ke: “Father, don’t tease me. I really just want to be an idle prince, and maybe improve the population’s genes a little while I’m at it!”

Li Shimin, his eyes brimming with tears: “I understand! You’re keeping a low profile and biding your time! I can rest easy knowing the Tang is in your hands!”

Li Ke: “???”
