Dream Delusion: Encountering the Abyss

At 22, Lin Wan defies her parents and travels alone to the city where her boyfriend, a soldier, is stationed. At the airport, she crashes straight into the arms of a stranger. The instant she looks up, she sees a storm raging in the man's eyes, but she can't understand why: she has the exact same face as his dead ex-girlfriend. He picks up her ID card, reads her name, then turns around and orders his assistant to dig into her background from top to bottom. But fate has other plans. The elderly woman living alone whom Lin Wan rescued turns out to be his mother, whom he has never met. At their second meeting, she mistakes him for a thief. He gazes at the woman he loves and hides his dark intentions behind a smile. “I'm going home. You're saying I'm a burglar?” He is Lu Chenyuan, a man feared by both the underworld and the authorities: possessive, ruthless, and calculating, yet harboring an almost fierce desire to protect her. Her heart belongs to the soldier she dreams of, but he is determined to tear that longing from her and keep her by his side. “Lin Wan, from the moment you fell into my arms, you were never going to escape.”
