The original Journey to the West setting, with the appendices removed. Not a Primordial Chaos-style story. The journey takes a fantasy turn, with a System and a world-spanning game of chess. The protagonist gains enlightenment and becomes invincible. Multiple heroines?
There will be plenty of original plotlines, and the story won't follow the original Journey to the West. If you only want to read about the master and his three disciples, you'll be disappointed.
