Three years ago, Jiang Yan, the top disciple of the Heavenly Sword Sect, was framed by his master and closest friend. They shattered his sword bone, crippled his meridians, and tossed him off Falling Dragon Cliff like a dead dog. At the bottom of the cliff, he cultivated the Burning Bone Green Lantern Art with his broken body, using himself as fuel and his will as flame. He burned away his cultivation and lifespan in exchange for sword power that defied Heaven. Three years later, a green lantern blazed to life at the foot of the cliff, and Jiang Yan returned, cloaked in deathly qi and obsession. His former master became a soul to perish beneath his sword; his once-closest friend now treated him like a demon. Every step he took led toward death, yet before he died, he would drag the entire righteous path down with him!
