【Cool, gentle surgeon top and outwardly cold but inwardly warm, domineering CEO puppy-like bottom】, younger man, happy ending, sweet and angsty in equal measure
Love at first sight is always lust at first sight.
The moment Shen Jibai saw He Xuan, he knew: this was the person he was going to pursue.
The first time He Xuan saw Shen Jibai, he knew they weren’t right for each other.
But Shen Jibai said, “It doesn’t matter if we’re not right for each other now. We can talk about it when we are. I’ll pursue you in the meantime.”
For Shen Jibai, it began with He Xuan’s looks, but lasted because of love. He stayed by He Xuan’s side as he worked through his emotional knots and resolved the painful events of the past. He accepted every emotion, gave him all the respect and security he needed, and made no secret of how much he favored him.
He spent his whole life living up to the words he’d said when they first met: “I want to pursue you, and I’m serious.”
For He Xuan, meeting Shen Jibai, falling in love with him, and spending his life with him became one of the few lights in his otherwise dark life. He had a terrible past and painful memories he could barely bear to revisit, yet Shen Jibai still came to love him with fearless devotion, staying by his side as he escaped the mire and embraced happiness.
