On Qiling Continent, beast taming reigns supreme, with spirit herbs as its complement.
Battle beasts are ranked by both aptitude and level. Aptitude ranges from one to nine stars: one-star beasts have mortal blood, while nine-star beasts have divine blood. This determines how powerful they can eventually become. Levels range from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond to the legendary Saint and Divine ranks, with nine stars at each level.
Rank One (Novice): Contracts a Bronze-level battle beast

Rank Three (Advanced): Contracts a Gold-level battle beast
Rank Four (Master): Contracts a Platinum-level battle beast
Rank Five (Grandmaster): Contracts a Diamond-level battle beast

Legendary City (Holy City): It is said that even the continent’s most powerful Saint-rank experts yearn for it.
Rank One City (Royal City): The heart of the continent, with a population ranging from tens of millions to over a hundred million. It is home to the royal family, temples, continent-wide academies, and the headquarters of top merchant guilds. It has ancient teleportation arrays linking the continents and is guarded by Saint-rank beast tamers.
• Rank Two City (Megacity): A regional hub with a population of several million.
Usually controlled by a family of Diamond-rank beast tamers or a major sect, it has a complete training system from Gold to Platinum level and serves as a stage for the elite.
• Rank Three City (Main City): A standard city with a population of several hundred thousand.
It is home to the backbone of the Silver- and Gold-rank beast tamers, and has complete training facilities from beginner to Silver level. It is the main setting in the middle of the story.
• Rank Four City (Frontier City/Town): A frontier outpost or remote settlement with a population of tens of thousands. Resources are scarce, most beast tamers are Bronze-rank, and even Silver-rank tamers can dominate. This is the archetypal starting point for the protagonist’s story.
