The Wild Geese Return to Haicheng

The year after Bai Xiaoxue’s mother died, Liu Mei brought the thirteen-year-old Lin Feng into the Bai family’s old home. In the days they spent together, eleven-year-old Bai Xiaoxue and thirteen-year-old Lin Feng felt the first stirrings of an innocent affection. When Bai Xiaoxue turned eighteen, her father, Bai Jianye, and stepmother, Liu Mei, sent her abroad. Then her father suddenly fell gravely ill and slipped into a coma, becoming a vegetable, while the Bai Group declared bankruptcy. Lin Feng broke up with her, and Bai Xiaoxue fled Haicheng in a wretched state. For eight years, she vanished without a trace. Eight years later, Lin Feng has become general manager of the Lin Group, while Bai Xiaoxue has transformed from the timid girl she once was into a director with confidence and clout. She returns to Haicheng to uncover the truth about what happened back then and reclaim everything from those who once pushed her into the abyss. She is determined to wield the blade of revenge, yet remains trapped by lingering old love. Every step is agonizing, leaving her caught between moving forward and turning back.
