The System Wants Me to Coast, but She Keeps Pushing Me to Work Hard

[Abandoned Ending] Shen Xu was an utterly unremarkable slacker and poor student, just coasting through life. Then one day, a System suddenly awakened within him. He thought it would make it easy to reach the pinnacle of success, but who could have guessed that the tasks it assigned would be to keep doing his usual daily routine? Before long, though, Shen Xu discovers the secret to earning points! But then a transfer student arrives, and she seems to come from a very influential family! Then, on his way home from school, he is surprised to find that the girl lives in the neighborhood right next to his own. That’s it, he’s doomed. His life of slacking has only just begun, aaaargh! Yin Jingchen: Put your phone away! Study hard, and think about your parents, who work so hard... Shen Xu: I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you! Wangba Chen is chanting sutras! Yin Jingchen: You hateful Shen Xu! “Can’t you lot learn from Shen Xu? He studies hard every day and keeps his eyes glued to the blackboard! Just a few days ago, he was a worthless student who slept through class, and now he’s working so hard. I bet he’ll surpass every one of you in a few days!” the homeroom teacher shouted at the students below, exasperated that they refused to improve. Yin Jingchen turned red with anger. “Him? Playing games and slacking off in class every day is what you call studying hard? Can’t you check the surveillance footage and see what he’s actually doing? Argh! I’m so mad!”
