A Slacker Outsider, Dragged Off by Bao'er Jie to Bury Bodies

(The Outcast fanfiction + original plot + absurd comedy + supernatural abilities + one female lead) I just want to lie flat in the world of the Outsiders, so why am I being forced to team up with Feng Baobao to bury bodies? I'm Lin Gou, a good-for-nothing Outsider who can chat idly with animals. I planned to coast along with this useless ability until I kicked the bucket, but by sheer chance I passed the hiring exam for the industry's top company, the Everywhere Express Delivery Company. My dream is simple: slack off, clock in, collect my perfect-attendance bonus, and quietly make it to retirement at sixty-five. But my coworkers all seem a little off: Feng Baobao made me her burial buddy, but she forgets to bring a shovel nine times out of ten. Zhang Chulan is always trying to stick me with the food bill, but my pet pigeon keeps exposing all his secrets in public. Every time Daoist Wang Ye tells someone's fortune, he somehow predicts that he'll have to buy my milk tea again that day. Even when Zhuge Qing studies the art of divination, the mouse at my place mocks him: “Your predictions aren't as reliable as my food stash!” When the solemn Luotian Grand Ceremony becomes my favorite place to slack off, and a crisis at Biyou Village is easily resolved thanks to a bunch of gossipy animals... The company bosses go from yelling at me to falling silent, before finally announcing: “This good-for-nothing... no, this talented individual is now the lucky mascot of our East China branch!” And all I want to do is shout at my animal information network: “Weren't we supposed to keep our heads down and avoid trouble? How did I become a useless person under special protection!”
