The Refugee Girl Is Strong: She Grabs a Spy and Makes a Name for Herself

[Period setting + adorable, tough little kid + mechanical genius + superhuman strength + patriotic everyday life + every villain gets their comeuppance]

The 1960s, the deserts of the northwest.

Lin Xingxing, once a top mechanical engineer, is reborn in the three years of hardship as a pitiful four-and-a-half-year-old who was nearly sold off by her awful relatives.

A hellish start?

Xingxing sneers, swings a wrench to knock out a human trafficker, then uses the principle of leverage to build a simple cart. With sparks flying all the way, she drags five burly men to the gates of the Northwestern Military District!

The sentry is stunned. “Little girl, are those... New Year goods?”

Xingxing wipes her sweat. “Reporting, Uncle! These are bad guys I caught for the country. Can I trade them for some big white steamed buns?”

From then on, the Northwestern Military District has a new “little princess.”

Cut ties with her family! A family that sells its own daughter is better off without her!

While everyone else is fretting over how to repair tractors, she climbs onto a little stool and fixes a radar vehicle.

When spies try to steal secrets, she slaps them down and even improves the military radio transmitter along the way.

The commander wipes away tears. “This isn't some little refugee. She's a mechanical genius sent by the country!”

This is a heartwarming story of growing up and holding on to one's beliefs, of outsmarting bad people through hard times and tightening the screws on the nation's destiny with a screwdriver.

(Note: This is a slice-of-life story with a slow build, full of laughter and tears, focused on developing the great northwest.)
