The Flying Pancake Showdown

I sell flying pancakes in the Middle East, using an ancestral code to earn gold stained with blood. Then I rescue a princess in distress. She’s adorable and clingy. After that, my sworn enemies start dropping dead one after another, each in a way that perfectly matches the flying-pancake recipes I taught her. On the night we flee by plane, she drops her disguise and presses a gun to my chin. “Teacher, one last lesson: how to use what you taught me to kill you.” (I smile and take her gun hand. “Funny, that’s exactly what I wanted to teach you.”)
