Jianxin: A Mistaken Encounter in the Mountains and Seas

A Jianxin fanfiction. This is my first attempt at writing angst, so I’m using Second Master to practice. Before she turned sixteen, Cunxin had loving parents, a childhood sweetheart who was her fiancé, and a maid who was like a sister to her. But on her wedding day, a god descended from the heavens, slaughtered her entire family, and imprisoned her in a divine palace. When news of Cunxin’s death reached the West Sea, Yang Jian was so grief-stricken that he fell into a deep, unresponsive sleep. When he opened his eyes again, he was trapped in an illusion. He thought Cunxin was taking revenge on him, making him watch her find happiness with someone else. Yang Jian sneered. In the real world, he had been held back by too many concerns and had ultimately lost the woman he loved. Since this was an illusion, he might as well go mad for once. Here, Cunxin could belong to him alone. A solemn disclaimer: This book has no moral compass and no logic. I wrote it purely for my own amusement after watching Jianxin fan edits.
